Can I take Hepatalgina if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?

Hepatalgin is not recommended for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Can children take Hepatalgina?

Hepatalgina is indicated for use in children over 6 years of age.

Who cannot receive this medication?

Children under 6 years old. Do not use in case of complete obstruction of the main bile ducts or severe liver disease.

What adverse reaction can taking this medication cause?

In some patients it can cause loose or frequent stools.

What precautions should I take before using Hepatalgina?

Consult your doctor before taking this medicine if:
  • You are taking another medication, pregnant or breast-feeding.
  • You know or suspect that you suffer from liver and/or kidney disorders.
  • You remember having an allergic reaction to one of the components of the medication.

What care should I take while taking Hepatalgina?

If you take this medication to relieve digestive discomfort and if it persists or worsens, consult your doctor immediately, especially if it involves pain. Do not wait more than 5 days without consulting a doctor.

Interactions with other medications

It should not be administered to patients receiving disulfiram treatment (disulfiram is used to treat chronic alcoholism).

Is this medicine suitable for people with celiac disease?

Hepatalgin , both drops and tablets, is a gluten-free medication and can be used without problems by people with celiac disease.
Hepatalgina is suitable for people with celiac disease.

Due to the content of ethyl alcohol/ethanol as an excipient, precautions should be taken in people with liver disease, alcoholism, epilepsy, pregnant women and children.
